What you will learn:

  • Explore transportation careers

  • Learn the rules of driving comercial vehicles

  • Study to pass the CDL Class B test with passenger and school bus endorsements

  • Prepare for possible employment as a school bus driver

Classes meet every TUESDAY (ONLINE) March 3rd - May 26th

6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Requirements:

  • High Intermediate+ learners with score of GOALS 210+ or STEPS 217+

  • Valid Minnesota driver’s license with a clean driving record

  • Work authorization

  • Computer with reliable internet

  • Computer Skills for Business Office – 3 Northstar exams: Basic Computer Skills, Using Email, Internet Basics

  • Conversation Class – STEPS 204+

High Intermediate to Advanced ESL

  • Introduction to Accounting – GOALS 217+ (≈ STEPS 220+)

  • Nursing Assistant Prep – GOALS 217+ (≈ STEPS 220+)

  • English for the American Workplace and College – GOALS 220+

Advanced ESL / Adult Academics

  • Community Interpreter Training – GOALS 223+
