GED Testing

Adult Options in Education offers GED testing as a Pearson VUE approved test site. We are located at the Eisenhower Community center on the second level in Room 245. When ready to schedule a GED exam, testers are encouraged to schedule directly through GED.com. Students will need to log-in (or create a student account if this is their first time). Search our test site by zip code and then select the best day or time(s) that may fit your schedule.

The GED has four subject tests: Social Studies, Science, Math, and Reasoning through Language Arts.

Each subject test costs $36. The total cost for all four tests is $144.

The Minnesota Department of Education offers a test discount with the code: MNGED10 ($10 off per subject test, can be used 4 times max per tester)

The GED passing score in Minnesota, like in all other states, is 145 on each of the four subtests. Scoring is done on a 100-200 scale.

Need a copy of your GED?
You can request a copy of your GED through the Minnesota Department of Education. Send an email to GED Records: waivers, transcripts, diplomas at mde.abe@state.mn.us. Please also note that GED records requests and age waivers will take about 1 week to be reviewed.
